William W. Walker has been named among North Carolina’s Super Lawyers for 2013. A 1970 graduate of Gettysburg College, an Infantry Officer, US Marine Corps 1970 – 1974 and a 1977 graduate of Wake Forest Law School, Walker has practiced civil litigation since 1977. Walker is also active is various bar organizations as well as serving as a Certified Mediator since 1992. The Super Lawyer selection process is a comprehensive, good-faith and detailed attempt to produce a list of lawyers that have attained high peer recognition, meet ethical standards, and have demonstrated some degree of achievement in their field. Only 5 percent of the total lawyers in the State are selected for inclusion in Super Lawyers.
